1) Log into your Actiontec V1000H modem by clicking on this linkhttp://192.168.1.254
If that does not work, type those numbers into the Address Bar of your browser and hit ENTER.
2) Where it says “Login to make changes to your router settings”, enter the following:
- Username: admin
- Password: telus (lower case)
If this is the first time that you have accessed your modem, you may be prompted to change your username & password.
3) Once you do that, click on the “Wireless Setup” button towards the top centre of the page.
4) Ensure that “Wireless Radio” and “SSID Broadcast” are both set to “Enable”.
5) Your “SSID Name” is how you identify YOUR wireless signal from others.
Please change your “SSID Name” to something other than what it currently is now.
6) Click on the drop-down menu beside “Security” and select “WPA / WPA2″.
7) Click on the drop-down menu beside “WPA Type” and select “WPA or WPA2 – Personal”. Click on the drop-down menu beside “Encryption Type” and select “TKIP”.
9) If you want to use the modem generated default security key, leave “Security Key Type” set to “Use Default Key/Passphrase” and your WPA Key will be the green numbers & letters beside it.
If you want to create your own, select “Use Custom Key/Passphrase” and click enter whatever you want your security key to be long white box.
- Make sure to write down this WPA Key because you will need it to set up your wireless computer or device.
10) When you are finished, click on the green “Apply” button below and exit out of this window.

This concludes the first stage of setting up your wireless connection through your Actiontec Wireless Gateway Modem.

‘Jersey Shore’ Cast Goes on Strike

The cast of “Jersey Shore” is so dissatisfied over their contract situation that they refused to shoot scenes for the upcoming third season until they get a better deal … this according to sources connected with the show.

Jenni JWoww Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Angelina Pivarnick, Nicole Snooki Polizzi, Ronnie Magro, Pauly D DelVecchio, Sammi Sweetheart Giancola, and Mike The Situation Sorrentino attend the KIIS-FM “Now 34 And The Jersey Shore” party at Hollywood Tower on July 11, 2010 in Los Angeles, California. The cast was supposed to begin shooting “at home” scenes today for season three, but we’re told JWoww, Ronnie, Sammi, Pauly D and Vinny — who are spread out between New York and Rhode Island — told the crews they weren’t shooting without new contracts.

The Situation and Snooki are supposed to shoot tomorrow, and we’re told Snooki plans to do the same. No word yet on The Situation, but as we first reported … he’s having contract issues of his own.

Sources close to the show tell TMZ the cast feels they can make more money doing appearances for two months, rather than filming the show.

A rep for MTV had no comment.

Jersey Shore Season 2 is Just Weeks Away on MTV and the First Teaser Trailer For the Season Has Been Released

If you thought season 1 was crazy, then get ready for season 2, which from the short clips in the trailer, proves to be even crazier with more fights, more hook-ups, more fist pumps and of course more of The Situation referring to himself as The Situation.

The trailer starts with images of a snowy New York and the ‘snowmageddon’ that struck that part of the United States earlier this year.

Snooki announces ‘we’re coming to Miami!’ before a few shots of the cast drinking and dancing flash by. Pauly D says he is so excited to be back with all his roommates and yells ‘I’m in Miami bitch!’.

Next we get our first glimpse of Ronnie and Sammi together – are they a couple or aren’t they? They share a somewhat awkward hug and Sammi says ‘I definitely think it’s going to be tough living with Ronnie again’. Around the 1:22 mark Ronnie is back on camera saying he wants to do what he wants and then he’s seen dancing with a couple of girls in their underwear. A voice (that doesn’t sound like Sammi’s we think) says over the top of images of Sammi and Ronnie together ‘he told me today I’m his girlfriend’. Sammi yells at Ronnie that he’s been lying to her this whole time and then we see him in some kind of three-way kiss with Sammi yelling to him ‘I’m done!’

Jwoww calls Sammi ‘the dumbest thing on the planet’ who says to Sammi ‘did you grow some balls all of a sudden?’ and Sammi replies ‘you always had balls honey’. Sammi thinks Jwoww wants Ronnie (we don’t) but of course a fight breaks out between the two girls with lots of slapping and screaming.

One of the biggest moments of the season premiere will be when Angelina arrives and it looks like the rest of the cast had no idea that she was coming. We don’t see much more of her in the trailer but no doubt she creates some serious drama.

Naturally The Situation manages to pick up some ‘grenades’ as he calls less attractive women than he would like to sleep with, and there’s some weird insinuation that Snooki and Vinny get it on, and Angelina and Snooki even seem to fight over it.
