Want to find some great face painting designs? There are tons of ways of doing this. One thing that I like to do is to look at YouTube videos.
Another thing is to keep up with what little kids like. For instance, for little boys, superheroes are big! Little girls get really excited about the latest movies. Think “Little Mermaid”.
A great thing about painting faces is your audience is so incredibly happy with whatever result they get! Four year olds are just really happy to be running around with Christmas trees or cupcakes on their little cheeks. They’re not too concerned if you’re the next Leonardo Da Vinci. So, I guess what I’m telling you is to relax and have fun.
Whatever’s seasonal is a great place to draw inspiration for designs for painting faces. Christmas, Thanksgiving, Valentines Day, all have their motifs-christmas trees, turkeys, or hearts. And, really this is all you’ll need for a birthday party.
You’ll need more than one design, though. Although toddlers are a very forgiving audience, they don’t all want to be wearing the same thing either. Ask your clients what they want on their little faces. They’ll tell you. If you can’t draw that particular thing, then suggest something else. Your little clients will probably go right along with you.
Whatever face painting designs you go with make sure you’ve got the right materials for this. Face painting is really simple to do. All you need are paints, a couple of small brushes, and a sponge or two. Please make sure the paints are real FDA approved face paints. Nothing else is really safe, especially not for children.
One thing you want to make sure you do is use your imagination and creativity with your face painting designs. Face painting is a lot of fun, but if you’re doing the same things over and over again, it can get old. Keep coming up with new face painting designs and this won’t happen to you.
